Cultivated Varietals

At Altieri Specialty Coffee, we cultivate different coffee varieties on two farms:

Pipim Estate is located in Alto Lino Boquete, where we cultivate the Caturra and Catuai varieties. On this farm, we develop our seedbeds and renewal seedlings.

Mima Estate is located in Alto Quiel, Boquete. Next to the Volcán Barú forest reserve, where we cultivate plots of: Typica, Catuai, Bourbon, and Geisha.

Each plot is identified by referencing the nickname of each of the grandchildren of our Founder, Eugene Altieri.
