Four-time prize winning Specialty Coffee in the annual Best of Panama coffee competition since 2014.
The greatest extension of cultivation on the farm is Geisha coffee due to the great advantages that various microclimates create on Mima Estates. This, together with a meticulous care of coffee traceability, ensures the best cup with a special and complex combination of many flavors.
Tom
Unique lot within a valley with spring deposits (or spring sources), the coffee grows within the secondary forest which is part of the Volcan Barú Forest Reserve.
Dilgo
Hill with volcanic soils, the coffee grows under a 60% shade cover provided by guava trees and mountain cedars.
Chombi
Small plateau next to the Volcan Barú National Park where coffee grows under cultivated shade of Guava and Cedars with 60% coverage.
Ale
Large plateau bordering the upper part of the canyon known as Callejon Seco. Next to the Volcan Barú National Park.
Alessa
A plot of hills inside the Volcan Barú National Park, where coffee grows under the shade of native trees over 200 years old, within the wildest area of our farm.
Lote Luci
It is a special terroir. Surrounded by primary forest, it receives sun only in the mornings because it is next to one of the peaks of the Barú Volcano. The coffee grows under cultivated shade of Higuerilla, Guavo, Aguacatillos, Palomo with 60% coverage.
Lote Coquito
Our highest altitude lot, the coffee grows on the slopes of the Barú Volcano. It is a very cloudy, cold area with a lot of shade, surrounded by primary forest.
