Our History

We are a family business founded in 2005 by Eugene Altieri, an Italian-American entrepreneur who moved to Panama in 1973. Nearly two decades ago, Eugene acquired two farms in Boquete without knowing their potential for cultivating specialty coffee. 

Today, Eugene's children continue his legacy, working with a professional team to expand the Altieri Specialty Coffee brand, always focused on achieving the highest quality for their customers. For the Altieri family, coffee is not just a business; it's a ​passion.
